Another quiet day.

Stayed up till 3 last night finishing Harry Potter.  No spoilers to report at the moment - just that I liked it mostly but will need to go back and read it more slowly to pick up the details.

The day didn't start well - Peter the kitten spilled some water all over my papers, Shadow (M's dog) got into the garbage - but after all the cleanup the day was ok.  Last night I picked up the DVD of Putting It Together, a Sondheim review.  I checked it out on Netflix a while back and kept it for at least a month.  Wonderful wonderful performances, highly recommended to anyone who likes Sondheim music.  So I watched it a couple times this morning/afternoon before finally getting up and going to the scrapbook convention out in St. Charles.  Not really worth the money, IMO, but I did pick up an eyelet setter which I'd been putting off for a bit.  Tried it out both at the booth and at home, works pretty well.  One more toy to play with.

Watched SG-1 and Atlantis tonight - again no spoilers, just a "they were alright" sense about them.  I haven't been terribly impressed with anything yet, though moments of McKay/Beckett on Atlantis were fun to watch.  And Daniel on SG-1 is lovely as always.  I just don't feel the fire behind anything so far this season, though.  Maybe it will hit me more during a second viewing.

Thought I'd share a pic of Peter - forgive the lousy camera.  He's grown a bit since this - he's over 3 months now!
